Beginning with a darkroom printing class when she was 8, Karen continued to learn film developing and printing throughout high school and college, earning her BFA in Photography from Shepherd University.
Since Karen has returned to photography, she has been in multiple group exhibits including ArtDoc Magazine and F-Stop Magazine online galleries. She was also a 2019 Silver Award winner in the San Francisco Bay International Photography Exhibition and Chromatic Award Honorable Mention in 2021.
Karen currently lives outside Baltimore, MD
