These images were recently included in NSEW Magazine Issue 5. The images were taken over a 30 year period.
I grew up reading and hearing tales of superstitions passed down from the local German immigrants mixed in with the stories of Civil War ghosts. I didn’t realize how heavily I was influenced by these legends and folklore until I was much older. The tales of people’s pasts have always stuck with me.
